ROOPAK + TALIA | SURPRISE PROPOSAL AT SUNSTONE VILLA

 

This surprise proposal at the fabulous Sunstone Villa is just the perfect thing for your Monday morning!

Excited to have the perfect stage to ask the biggest question in his life, Roopak contacted me to capture the whole thing! Talia, the love of his life, had no idea what was happening when he got down on one knee – right there on the balcony of the Tuscany Suite – and asked her to be his wife! Not knowing what had gone into setting the elaborate scene up – or even that I was hiding out – Talia delightfully said YES!

After taking a few minutes to savor the moment, we had another surprise for Talia… a mini engagement session! With such grace, Talia and Roopak spent the next half hour wandering the grounds of Sunstone allowing me to document those first few moments as a newly engaged couple.

It was such pleasure to be able to witness that moment and then to share in their giddiness as it all started to sink in! In those special moments, I was able to see their apparent love for one another. I learned that they knew they were each other’s “person” and were devoted to each other, even when faced with a long-distance relationship – and by long, we mean LOOOONG! Roopak is currently living in Africa for work. Happily, Talia will soon join him now that it’s official!

What I love most about shooting proposals is the unique ability to get to know a couple from the first moment in their wedding planning process. It makes the entire journey all the more special and fun! I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Roopak and Talia and hope all their wedding and life dreams come true!
